IV Welbutrin Bupropion - First Time IV - I can't believe I'm writing this

So, the addict that I am have heard about the stimulant qualities of Welbutrin and have never taken it before tonight. I guess you can say I got a little desperate because who the fuck shoots anti depressants?!?!?

Anyways, I got a 300 mg XL pill of bupropion and shaved the coating off easily.
After I crushed the pill and used about a full CC to dissolve. I hate heating up pills when I shoot them but unfortunately, this was the only way it would dissolve. It almost looked oily when it was heated and mixed. Mind you almost 100 percent of the pill dissolved so I don't recommend anybody ever do this but I'm writing this because I just can't belive what just happened lol

So I shot the pill and I did it in my wrist. The shit fucking hurt and burns like hell and 2 seconds later I'm just like eh nothing happened oh well, but then about 30 seconds later this rushing feeling like I was coming up on COCAINE took over my body. I could not believe the rush that I experienced from this and it's not anything I will be doing again because of the binders probably recrystalizing in my veins as we speak but holy shit lol. The rush didn't last long but it was very stimulant like and I still feel a little buzzed but not in a fucked up way. More of a focused and horny high I guess lol.

Please don't be stupid and do what I did. I just wanted to share my experience. Be safe guys.

Injecting Bupropion is stupid, but what's more stupid is doing it and not documenting your experience for posterity. Kudos to you Jpaz79, only mini-Kudos though...

I don't mean this as a put-down, but threads like this make me feel better about my own bad decisions. I really need more moments like this in my life, so again, mini-Kudos to you sir.

Not worth IVing welbutrin, can be very harmful

Be very careful. I have been IVing 300mg buproprion XLs on and off for a year or so. But like a week ago I missed my vein and it made my arm super swollen and red. After several days it got much worse. I just left the ER because it started eating my flesh from the inside. The doc at the hospital compared it to a chemical burn and had to report it to poison control. They said if the wound was any larger I would need a skin graft because it ate away at my skin so bad. I dont reccomend anyone try this, on the off chance that you miss the vein. Not to mention as soon you draw up the gooey substance into the rig and it begins to cool down, it solidifies and becomes like a gel. You can feel it thickening in your veins. Its terrible for you. Coming from someone who has done it quite a bit, I give you fair warning. There have been cases in canada where people have had to have amputations, and it's even killed a couple people. Not worth it. Stick to cocaine if you want a good stimulant rush. There are fillers and binders in pills that are not intended to go directly into your bloodstream. I have pics of my wound if someone wants to see them, message me. Its gross as hell, and painful.

Necrosis is no joke. I was almost septic after just a couple days. Surgery was needed and follow up painful debrising appointments months out. I was in so much pain. I have pictures as well and scars all over from it. Thank you all for sharing because I have considered trying this myself in efforts to stay away from that big rush that I love so much from meth. You have to extract the bupropion from all the fillers. Basically you crush the pills, add water, microwave until hot. Then use a coffee filter to let the liquid (straight bupropion) drain into another clean glass. Use filters, and draw up dtraight from the cup. It WILL ruin your veins for awhile though, so be VERY careful!!!

Shooting suboxone will do this as well. I've been going to a wound care center for 3 years because it. My whole bottom right leg is covered in huge, open wounds. I've had 4 debridement surgeries to clean the wounds, and my insurance will hopefully approve me skin graft soon.
