Alright, here's the deal..
Sometimes when I IV and pull back, a bit of blood flow will come in. It's dark red and flows like molasses instead of the bright cloudy red plump I usually get.
Now, I know how to hit, and I usually can 99% of the time, guaranteed. I was blessed with huge veins so yeah.
Am I missing or?

2nd question,
Does anyone else find it hard to save dope? Like, I'll buy a bun, do 6 throughout the day, nod out, sleep, wake up, and finish the other remaining bags.
If I don't nod out and I still have a few bags left, It's like I have to do them until I pass the fuck out.
Anyone else?

The slow blood flow you're describing sounds like what happens to me when I hit somewhere that is basically collapsed. Like blood will flow into super slowly, and then if I try to register more generally no more comes in. It's almost always at a spot I overused for a couple days and sometimes means I can never hit there again, it's almost always the precursor to that vein disappearing. I am not blessed with huge veins, mine are small, deep, and still manage to roll. And if this happens and I can't register more blood when pulling back a bit more I don't actually inject there. I'll try and hit somewhere else really fast or refilter the solution if too much blood got in. Which isn't a spectacular idea in and of itself.

And about your second question, I don't know many addicts that can save their dope. I sure as hell can't. I don't think that's unusual, though also not a healthy mindset to have.

When I first starting using dope my ROA was snorting, then I could somewhat ration my shit. But when I started the IV approach all bets were off. I'm sure anyone else that has been or is a junkie would tell you the same thing.

There are a lot of things that could cause the reaction you're describing. Blood has different colors and viscosity based on the individual and where injection site is. Also, the needle size will affect flashback into the syringe.

If you're at all worried get some blood work done, or go to a pharmacy and get a blood pressure cuff(or use the one they have) and a pulse-ox to see what your O2 levels are at.

Without seeing your works and being able look at some lab results, and or do a physical exam, it's kind of tough to say exactly what you're experiencing. Maybe try out some new veins: top of the foot, top/bottom of the wrist, hands, and any where else that you can find a good site.

The blood doesn't always look exactly the same every time you register. There are many factors that influence that.

So just because it may not look precisely like it did a previous time, doesn't mean you aren't in a vein.

A better indication of whether you're in or not is if you feel any pain when injecting. A burning sensation or sharp pain is a sign of missing.

As to whether it's normal or not for heroin addicts to have trouble saving their drugs... I think that's pretty self-explanatory.. Hah.
