i may be getting 4mg dillies which i'll be IVing

Now i get MSIRs, and got 10 15mg tabs

anyway, using a narcoitc converter. it said 4mg of hydromorphone is equal to 16mg of iv morphone.. i just don't belive it? any thoughts? 15mg gives me a ncie rush and i have a high tolerence. I planed on iving 2mg at a time of the dillies, but it looks like they are the same?

I wnet out all on 4mg and it was GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGREAT! But again you said 15mg gets you a good rush while I do 30mg so you may be right on the money with 2mg

i've never tried hydromorphone, but from what i've read it has an incredible rush , far more intense than morphine... but i think morphine lasts longer...

also according to this chart http://www.globalrph.com/narcotic.cgi ... 4mg hydromorphone IV=26mg morphine IV

i thought it was a lot stronger. I'm trading some benzos for some 4mg tablets as i've never ived dillies before... and the opana ers i get can't be ived

hydromorphone pwns morphine via IV. I only had both of them in the hospital, but the hydromorphone rush was so intense the first couple times I felt like I couldn't breath for a few seconds.....morphine was just good for treating pain, imo.

Hydromorphone pills are much safer than Morphine to IV, and yes, the high is stronger and more sedating yet still similar to morphine.

do you get the alergic reaction like you do with morphine, the bumps, redness and itchyness around the site?

i assume hydro is a semi-sythetic opiate and not natural like morphine

I always dose orally with mscontin. When I began experimenting with IV administration, I did shoot them a few times, however I ceased that quickly because the risk from missing is too high.

why are they still produced that way? Oxycotin generic gel up, morphines do, opana does, etc

why do hydro's get produced so they are so easy to IV?

Hydromorphone does not gel up, but Hydromorphone Contin does. The same with Kadian (morphine IR) and MS Contin, and Roxycodone and Oxy Contin.

It is only the continuous release forms that gel up

Hydromorphone's should be heated until the liquid is clear. Some brands completely dissolve and cook up 100% clear, while some leave a residue on the spoon, but ALL Hydromorphones cook up into clear liquid. Also, Hydromorphone when cooked is a thick liquid, if you let it cool too much before drawing up into syringe, you will see a "skin" start to form on the solution and it must be re-heated before shooting. Even at it's optimum consistancy, the more Dilaudids you crush and cook, whether it be 4mg or 8mg (I get the 8mg), I have found 5 pills is about the limit, and 6 is pushing it but can be done, as any more than this, the solution after cooking is too syrupy and is very difficult to "plunge" into the vein. It feels like you are meeting TONS of resistance in your vein, however it is the thickness of the solution.
As for MSContin, you CANNOT put heat to these as they "gel" up almost instantly, as if they werent "gelled" enough when adding cold water. The "gel" that users talk of is actually a wax binder that slows absorption once swallowed as to not allow all of the medicine to be absorbed by the body at once. I read that a cold water extraction method is best for MSContin but everything I have read advises against IV'ing, due to the almost certainty that some of the wax binders will enter the syringe AND your veins. An article I read about repeated IV'ing of MSContins can lead to some pretty serious long term damage to the circulatory system. I've shot MSContin a few times, trust me out of desperation, and the very little "rush" that I got wasn't worth the effort. I had to actually "concentrate" to feel the 5 second "rush" if you want to call it a "rush". Just snort the MSContins to be safe and get the most out of them, but definately SHOOT the Dilaudids! BE CAREFUL whatever you deciide to do....

Hydromorphone HCL is extremely soluble in cold water (333mg/1cc), cooking it is just retarded!:p

Cooking Dilaudid tablets will not make the Hydromorphone anymore soluble then it already is. All you are doing is dissolving nasty binders/fillers into your shot that would otherwise be filtered out by the cotton and/or wheel filter.

If you feel the need to cook for the purpose of sterilization, do it after the solution has been filtered. This way you will not be disolving unnecessary binders/fillers into your shot.
