Misc IV drug use and smell

Hey :D Anyone here find that they can smell the drugs they i.v? Like after you do the shot, you get a strong smell of the drug, be it heroin or cocaine, etc. I find that when I do a shot of really good dope I sense the smell of it, even though it is all in my arms and not in front of my nose heh. With cocaine, I get the taste of it in my mouth after doing a strong shot. It's usually a good indicator for me if I'm going to be really high. The stronger the smell, the higher the high.

I don't really notice a smell other than the one coming from the spoon. The taste however, I do notice and love... yum
 
I'm guessing that the drug is coming out of your pores and gives off a smell? Lol. Just guessing
 
Yea it only happens with heroin when I iv it. Not with coke, I taste that when i.v'd.

lmao... i seriouslly hope your just kidding...

but also taste and smell are very closely related as in you cant have one without the other... well mabe you can have smell without taste, but idk anyone who has no taste... it would be interesting to experience it tho (the smell when IVing that is)
 
Yes! Especially with heroin I love the smell. Think I've made a thread about it actually. To me it's almost floral. I recently had a cold and my nose was completely blocked and although I know it was in my mind I didn't feel the hit as much as I would have had I got the usual 'smell'.
 
By smell I'm guessing you mean the taste in the back of your throat? MDPV, Methylone, and Mephedrone (I don't remember if this does actually) all give a cool arctic menthol blast in the back of your throat. I was doing some with a friend one day and after his shot he ran into the bathroom and started dry heaving/throwing up/making zergling noises, he told me when he came back out that the taste was making him gag. One time I did a really large shot of Methylone (the most that would fit in a 1cc rig) and instead of being that cold menthol taste it became extremely hot, as did my chest and throat and head. I wonder why? Obviously I put the shit down after that...
 
naw stig this person is sayin they literally smell the shit when they do a shot cause thats what i said at first was yea i taste it but never have smelled it
 
I'm kinda kidding but kinda not. With horses(i train them) you can literally smell them sweating out the drugs.
 
My sweat has a certain nasty stank to it when im either doing a lot of uppers or especially when I'm dopesick and sweating into my bedsheets. Its very distinct.

I always assumed it was like adrenaline or something, like how they say that animals can smell fear on you.
 
Thought I should mention that the horses are getting drugs made for horses not our kind of drugs

Yes, that's the smell of stress hormones in your sweat. You're quite right.

Yeah almost all stims I have tried over the last 35 years or so (about 30-40 including meth, coke (freebase), Rx amphetamines and derivatives, Rx methylphenidate and derivatives, real X, street uppers passed off as X (meth), Rx anorectics (Preludin, tenuate, Fastin, etc) and just about every RC stim from the non-psychedelic substituted cathinone and substituted amphetamine groups, methylphenidate RC relatives, etc. Regardless of ROA all of those with a few exceptions produce funky BO of the most repulsive variety. Spend a small fortune on potent Ralph Lauren Polo Blue and Pierre Cardin colognes, since these two seem to outperform the others in masking this horror in between showers, still with mitigated success. Much less noticeable at low functional dosage though, grateful for small mercies.
 
When I used to shoot cocaine, if I could smell coke that was an indicator that'd I had done a wee bit too much. But with heroin if I can smell it after shooting I know I'm gonna have a good high.
