Hi friends,
Well Special K hasn't posted for a very long time because the board has become somewhat trivial and boring with all the dumb threads like what's your favourite snot colour etc etc, (sorry for my brutal honesty), so I've been lurking in the bleaches just watching everyone.
Then finally it stuck me "can't beat em....join em"....so here it is......
Who likes KYLIE MINOGUE ?????
Cause I think she's the bestest, gorgeous chicky I've seen.....plus we share the same birth date.

I like her as a person, but not her music (although I can remember dancing around the bedroom to "I Should Be So Lucky" when I was but a wee youngster)
I'm just interested to see how many Americans even know who she is.

Kylie is a full on hottie though...especially in the movie Biodome when she had the red hair....god...An aussie girl with red hair? I could have died happy after seeing that...

I remember "Two of Hearts" and her remake of "Locomotion" but she faded from the 80's pop scene fairly quickly if I recall correctly.
 
Kylie is back! and in MUCH better from than her 'I Should Be So Lucky' days.
I could go on and on about MIss Kylie, fact is, I love the woman.
I love her music (MUCH more credible than her old stuff)I think she's worked hard to get where she is, I think she's a top aussie chick. (even though she's been living in the UK for like 11 years)
On top of all that...SHE'S FUCKING HOT! This woman has GOT to be the most gorgeous woman on the face of the earth (anyone who hasn't seen her new book MUST, *sigh*).
AND I got to meet her, briefly after her Impossible Princess concert...she's so tiny and beautiful..and NICE.
I want to be like Kylie.

Although I've been watching a few old Neighbours episodes recently ("shouldn't you have something better to do Pillcat?" "Yes.") and I HATE her as FREAKIN' Charlene. With that over the top ocker accent and the way she's this pissy little 3foot4 blonde permy mess that wanders around in grotty overalls and squawks about "Scott this, Scott that" "Motor mechanic apprenticeship this, motor mechanic apprenticeship that." GOD! Go and do a duet with Nick Cave or something!!
Don't know if she's the hottest woman on the earth, mona, I'd put our Nicole Kidders before her. And did you see that Vogue cover she did with Elle? As IF you'd ever agree to go on a cover next to Elle McPherson!!! Who could look good next to her??? But I'd LOVE to own that new book, it's GORGE!
Impossible Princess is a darling of an album, and I, like mona, want to marry our Kyles. Except I can't, cos I'm already engaged to GHB.

oooh, I'm an american, and I know who the Minogues are! in the 80s when kylie first hit our scene, my friend was a majorette in the band. I remember her wearing a sequin-covered leotard as she did some kind of little baton twirling routine to some kylie songs. those songs will forever make me swoon for that reason alone. um, wow, I just admitted that publicly, didn't I? ha.
