The theory that Opioid antagonists reduce Opioid tolerance would technically apply to Nalaxone as it does for Naltrexone. I likely wouldn't work very well in practice however. As you know, Nalaxone has a very short duration meaning that any tolerance reducing effects could be totally lost.
The dose of Nalaxone supplied for reversing Opioid overdose is also enormous compared to what's likely needed for tolerance reversal purposes.
If you were to use Nalaxone to reduce Opioid tolerance (which you shouldn't do) you'd need to take micrograms doses every hour or so on the hour for it to be effective. Hope that puts it into perspective.
