Is Tumblr the new source for porn?!

It sure seems that Tumblr is filled with endless 'Adult content' & NSFW pages. They could be something useful to couples searching for some new ideas without having to watch an entire video...

Porn on Tumblr is a lot like music on Pandora: you can pick the genre, but not what you specifically want. The novelty wore off quickly, in my case.
 
Yes, I've found tons of porn on Tumblr. The bad thing about it is that it is often stolen porn. Stolen from pay sites. People are working really hard to get that content removed but people keep posting things! I think it's terrible, to be honest.

Yeah I had my run with tumblr but the novelty really did wear off when I got sick of slow load times, small screens and GIFs.

I do like the fact that god doesn't even know what weird, intriguing kink stuff you'll stumble upon out there. It's handy for getting previews and exposure to different genres and specific stuff that you might now see elsewhere.

Because who doesn't like finding new pornographic material?

Tumblr is just a spinoff of other shitty blog platforms. It's a way to avoid Blogger, which has a stricter TOS and you can lose the blog for stealing images.

Honestly, I stumbled upon it b/c of a page I like on Facebook. The page posts about Real Love, Relationships and Tasteful, partially clothed images. I never had gone onto Tumblr before, and didn't even know about it before this FB page.

As I had found the FB page's tumblr link, I clicked it and found like this whole other 'arena' (as others mentioned above) of interesting material. 8(

Didn't realize it's mostly stolen material as what I have seen was linked to other primary porno sites. The interest I had in it was based upon more of the 'share with my S.O.' trying to restart her interest in intimacy. There was some pretty F'd up pages. What I focused on was more for my wife and I.

The Thread on here was b/c I hadn't heard nor seen anyone mention it and I was surprised Tumblr was out there. I still don't know what Tumblr purpose is or what it was created for as I am not a 'Blogger' or a cutting edge type.

My sincerest apologies for posting/sharing the links, I had seen other post links to other porn sites and thought it was ok. I wanted to make a public apology. :o

Thank you!! I mean, there is a lot of really cheap porn around, is it that bad to pay a few bucks for some porn? I buy most of my porn, most of my music, and most of my movies.

I personally have spent HOURS on Tumblr (as well as a few other sites), collecting links of stolen porn to get them reported and removed. I have some friends who have a whole team who dedicate a couple hours each DAY (each!!) to go through these sites and collect links of stolen pictures and videos. Tumblr isn't the only site, but it is one of the newer sites and one that makes it very easy to steal and share photos and videos.

And yeah, Tumblr is not even a good blog platform. For an easy blog platform, I'd much prefer Blogger (although I have started liking it less and less).

If people want to do something illegal in the privacy if their own home I don't think BL is the place to rag on them...
 
yes, but only for some kinds of porn. i have yet to meet a tumblr user who is a straight cis male (besides ones i know from blue light) and the porn that shows up on my dashboard is all 'sent' to me by women. some of it is stereotypically 'lady porn' - still images of vaguely erotic bodies. a lot of it, though, isn't. lots of BDSM gifs, videos, stills. lots of gay sex. lots of eroticized spinal malformations and other deformities. lolita nymphet photos that come dangerously close to child porn. menophilia. pictures of panties with any number of fluids on them. lots of things that are obscene but only pornographic to a certain kind of person. to a certain kind of girl. girls are fucked up these days.

I'm not ragging on people who do illegal things in the privacy of their own home. It's just the stealing part that really gets to me.

Yes, you are. I have lost quite a bit of money from people saying "well I can get your stuff for free" or "I can get your stuff for cheaper".

Who the hell would use Tumblr for porn? Are the millions of other porn sites not enough?

If you can't find what you're looking for in 'The Big List of Porn' (Google it) then you should consider changing your fapping habits, because the FBI probably has your number.
