is there anyone out there who ACTUALLY knows what color mdma should be?!

My friends are driving me insane. One in particular who claims the purest mdma (powder) is brown and if its white it means its been bleached and anything I try to tell him (like pointing out the fact that he knows nothing about the proccess of how its made) he calls me a dumb bitch lol.

From what I know/have read, mdma should be white or off-white or something closer to that rather than to brown... (the m he got us that was brown turned out to be cut with meth >.> )

Is there anyone out there who actually knows for sure and could give me some info to back up their answer? :)
 
It should be white your right.. If its tan or brown its because the chemist skipped the last purification step to increase the amount of powder they make, and it leaves by products behind that make it that color. Brown mdma can still be really good it doesnt make it really weak or anything, just wasnt purified by the chemist as well as it could have been
 
It depends on how it was manufactured. Most molly is white-ish or brown-ish though. Since this will come up in another post I'll say it now. Color is no indication, get a test kit.
 
yup. Test your stuff to know if it's mdma. Pure mdma should be white, but some impurities in it can leave it a tannish colour. Ultimately you should test your stuff to know if it's mdma or not. Colour means NOTHING.
 
It should be clear and whiteish, although I have had amazingly beautiful light purple crystal clear pieces before, there's a picture in the gallery somewhere that was exactly like it. never seen it again either, I got it in Amsterdam 3 years ago :(

I know color doesn't mean squat, I never told him his wasnt good/impure, just that normally its like whitish and brown isnt neccessarily the best stuff you can find just because its brown.
 
Thankyou Ayla! Too bad hes got his head so far up his ass that I cant get more than like 4 words out before being yelled at for being stupid lol. He always has to be right >.> its so annoying...
 
Pure MDMA can be crystallized into translucent glass-like shards. It can look much like pure methamphetamine. By the time it gets sold in retail quantities it's usually just a fine white powder though.

If it's not white or clear, it's probably very dirty.
 
You can give him this, then:

"On continued stirring, there was the deposition of fine white crystals of 3,4-methylenedioxy-N-methylamphetamine hydrochloride (MDMA) which were removed by filtration, washed with Et2O, and air dried, giving a final weight of 4.8 g. "

Some time ago here were MDMA crystals around. Their color was between white and grey and sometimes with a purple shine. The crystals had a size from about 0.1 mm to 2 mm, some even bigger. And they made very very high :D

But at one party i saw stuff that should be MDMA that was more yellow like powder - didn't take it so can't tell you if it was good stuff (or MDMA at all).

its been from my research and understanding it didnt have its acetone wash in the last step...why dont they legalize x already it could do so much good for the world if everyone was rollin.
 
ohh yeah....but thats not necc. true either just more than likely the correct answer, but i wouldnt do any brown mdma because theres always a risk its some bad stuff just research and learn and gain a understanding but if you have pure mdma brown crystals just yeah give it a acetone wash up to 3 maybe and if it doesnt come out white then i wouldnt bother it id feed a little to a mouse and see if falls over dead and prob. still wouldnt try it if it lived, and id suggest always havin a test kit, they need the information more widely availble i think on making it because u get these people not knowin what there doin killin a bunch of ppl and it could be easily prevented just do your home work and always think and be safe.
 
ohh yeah its ppl doin stuff and not knowin what there "makin" or what there "takin" thats keepin us a step closer to gettin x legalized.
