HI

I just wanted to know really whether the measurements its giving me are realistic or not!

I just did 30 mins on it and it claims I burnt 2462 kjoules or something like 588 kcal.

Is this realistic for 30 mins work? Keep in mind I am a total novice to this (rowing machine ) but I have a stationary bike that i burn about 370 kcals on in about 35 minutes (or so it claims) and I find I am much more tired after the rowing machine than the bike (bad technique? working different muscle groups being worked..i'm not sure)

I'm just wondering whether the calorie readabout i.e. 588kcal in 30 mins is accurate?

thanks for any advice. :)

CRON-O-Meter is a great program for tracking kcals, vitamins, minerals, aminos, lipids(omega 3s, 6s, 9s), cholesterol, fiber, etc. It also tracks H2O, caffeine, ash, choline, phytosterol, cholesterol. It even tracks the lesser known (or I should say "less "aware") flouride.

Unfortunately, it dosen't track some of really microminerals like sulfer, boron, cobalt, nickel, and a few other we're still doing research on (arsenic, bromine, cadmium, silicon, tungsten, and vanadium). The reason is that there just isn't enought info about these compounds in the existing UDSA/FDA database.

But it's still a fantastic program.

Edit - Also for some reason it dosen't track molybdemun...strange.
