Is my love for amphetamine greater than the love for my mother?

Over the past few months, my mom and I have had a disagreement. She flushed my bottle of adderall into the toilet and that triggered a sort of hatred in me. She says if I ever associate with drugs, she doesn't consider me her son. But if she gets in my way, I don't consider her my mom. I guess we will always have this disagreement.

There is more than drugs in this. Your mom is afraid for your life and she probably has a rather hysterical view because that is what is all around her in the media, from friends, etc. She needs to understand however that trying to control you as a young person is going to have a negative effect. On the other hand, you might reconsider ending a relationship with your mom over your desire to take drugs. There is some middle ground and I hope you two find it.
