Is my boyfriend using crack??

Hi. I'm new to this site, but have been reading information from this site to answer a question I've had for a little while. Well... Here it goes. My current boyfriend of close to a year, used to do crack or so he says. He is really skinny. He says he tries to gain weight but he can't. He comes to my house and cleans like a mad man. I ask if he's on something. He states "That's just how I am". He has really bad hand tremors, and his eyes are always bloodshot, he constantly smokes weed, in my opinion to come down. When he sleeps, he twitches badly! He is on methadone, which he has proven, and seems to have an explanation of why he has the symptoms he has, and gets upset when I ask if he's using. He says "I can't believe you would think I would do that again". Please once and for all, can someone please tell me. IS MY BOYFRIEND ON CRACK??!!

is he not allowed to use crack while ur both in a relationship?

it should become too difficult to hide in time if he is back on it.

then if that is something you dont want to be around its worth asking if the relationship is healthy and worth continuing. i dont see much trust in ur post, which is understandable if ur dating som1 potentially in active addiction.

Your best bet is to honestly just drug test him. If he refuses, he's most likely hiding something or he may just flat out tell you. Has he always been acting the way your describe or only sometimes?

He knows that if I found out he's doing anything he's out of the picture. He's calmed down a little over time, but he still twitches in his sleep and I mean big time. He keeps telling me to test him, but that's crazy. One time I found this pipe outside that had the same look as a crack pipe, just the tube,but it has the number 10 on it and I don't know what the hell it was.

If he said to test him, then test him. Could be crack, could be another stimulant, or if he was a heavy crack user, could just be residual effects. Methadone won't make him act crazy like that and wouldn't have the physical symptoms you describe. Weed will give blood shot eyes. Just test him. If he's smoking crack it will show positive as cocaine on a drug test.
