Misc Is it safe to use nasal decongestant with pseudoephedrine

I've got a bunged up nose and find the pseudoephedrine I'm taking doesn't quite clear it up (but it does work to an extent). Would it be safe to use an oxymetazoline nasal decongestant spray as well? I couldn't find any info about specific interactions between the two drugs, but you never know.
 
Oxymetazoline is a strong adrenergic agonist and works by roughly the same mechanism that pseudo does (adrenergic agonism plus NE release). The problem is that the metazolines and other direct agents have is they can induce rebound nasal congestion.

I would stick with the pseudoephedrine. Maybe get a saline nasal spray too.
 
I'm a large person (I'm 6'1" and 220lbs) so could I increase the dosage from 60mg to 90-120mg so that it is a little more effective?
