is it safe to take valium the day after a heavy night of drinking?

my last drink was at like 5am just wondering it’s safe or if the alcohol is still in my system

It takes about 1hr for your body to metabolize 1 drink. So if you had 8 drinks it will be completely out of your system in 8hr.

And yes, it's generally safe. Many people use benzos after an alcohol binge to aid the hangover and rebound.

yea I use to HAVE TO have a valium or Xanax the morning after if I didn't have a drink or both lol

It should be safe in most cases. Also, valium is great for hangover.
It is not the same the other way around, if you had a big dose of valium at night, you better don't start your day with vodka shots, it could easily lead to nasty benzo&booze performances
