as with everything, it depends on a definition of terms. what's your definition of know?Is it possible to know what you are doing?
What do you think?
Agreed Fridge.
Thats why I asked him for his thoughts on the subject. Sometimes you just gotta poke and prod people.
Well, I think I am sitting on a couch which belonged to my dead dog, off a road named after exports from Italia, which is residing by a bay connected to a great ocean of bonded hydrogen and oxygen that rests on a rock called Earth, which is being tugged by the moon's pull, which is less than six million miles away, that is orbiting a great sphere of condensed hydrogen spewing out deadly but exotic radiation in an elliptical orbit, that is next to a twirling belt, if you will, of stagnant and potentially dangerous matter long since coalesced from the ejected remains of stars I will probably never know of, that marks a rough half way point between the cold, outer planets, that rotates around a magnanimous chunk of mass that's gravitational pull captures everything within 300,000 light years, which churns and spins amongst other galaxies in cosmic gravitational web of fucking who knows what.
So yeah, we're moving right along, and we're definitely doing something that I'm not sure you've the bandwidth to gather.
What do I think?
I think the world and the state it is currently in is the perfect example of people not knowing what they are doing.
I see alot of people claiming to know what they are doing, pretending so as to get attention and acknowledgement.
Heck, judging by the look of people's faces and how convinced
they come across as knowing the meaning of life in more words or less, you'd think a lot of people do know what they are doing.
All I can do is speak from personal perspective and from knowing the people I know well who have opened up after a long time.
I think if people were more honest from the get-go and didn't lie to avoid shame and to build their own ego then we would come to see
that most people aren't as cool as they portray.
why would you assume that juniorcat isn't applying this same lens introspectively at the same time?^ "i don't have a problem with what i'm doing, i just have a problem with what you're doing"?
alasdair
Whew! Finally.What do I think?

It doesn't matter who has leadership just so long as life on Earth continues to study space. I'm all for the Chinese returning to the Moon since the bloody U.S. is blowing it right now. Nobody seems to care about exploration anymore. We're just a bunch of so-called intelligent beings who think we have it all figured out, yet perpetually fight one another for the same disclosed reasons. It's a frightening and equally scared world and the only cure is greater understanding. No, but talking about it helps. Thanks for the link by the way. ' that will ensure Europe’s continued leadership in space activities.'
Why Europe?
