I have an 'acquaintance' who was talking about this yesterday. I wanted to call bullshit but knew very little.
Can people actually make $ through generic "picture" accounts on tumblr? He says he gets "affiliate money" on his blogs while they run and that he sells them once they've got enough followers (claims he does this through craigslist..)
Any light shed on this would be appreciated, so I can either begin copying his approach or, more likely, be equipped to call his bullshit next time.
