Misc Is crack, meth, or heroin more likely to psychologically hook users the first time?

The only hard drug I did was crack and I consider it to have hooked me the first time in a sense. I was scared clean though, only smoked it a handful of times over a year and a half ago. But I still think about it a bit more than I would like to. I'm just curious how strong the draw to crack is compared to the draw to heroin and meth after the first use. I don't really plan on touching either drug but I do have a thing for opiates.

After the first use? I'm going with crack, although meth is a close second...Heroin takes a few times, I didn't like it the first 4 or 5, wish I had never tried it again!

all depends on the user and what they like. ive done meth a ton of times, and it was only on weekends, every saturday night at a certain NYC club for years and years. never had a problem w/ it. was able to do it and do it only at that club. along w/ many other "party" drugs.

one day I was introduced to Heroin after having loved Opiates for years prior.. BOOM! Love at first site/try! still kicking the dope now and on Subox but the dope got me and got me fast.

Crack.. never for me. Just not my thing.

Personally preference.

However crack comes with a monstrous urge to redose. I redose pretty compulsively on meth too but nothing like I do with crack or IV coke, it's non negotiable, I'm draining at least one chequing account and ruining my arm after that first shot.

I try to avoid smoking crack, only do it when I'm realllly bored and somehow end up in it's presence, but at least in my experience with crack you just don't want to fucking stop, but the next day I really couldn't give a damn about it. I've never sought out crack in my life.

Meth is a lot of fun, but at a certain point it just becomes all side-effects. It's rather too intense for me, I don't like feeling crazy as shit, and it really loses any sort of appeal to me after doing it like once or maybe twice a year. I've spent a grand total of twenty dollars on it in my entire lifetime and I've had access to it since the age of 13.

Opiates are a lot less intense and reinforcing than the other two, I think, really, until you manage to actually get addicted to them. At which point you're screwed! At least in my case, heh.

for me it was heroin, not sniffing, but the 1st time i injected, it was pure heaven, i was hooked.

coke of any kind, not so much.

never have tried meth, no particular reason other than i like depressants more than "speedy" drugs.

The question is totally subjective. Certain people based on their own personality, etc, are more attracted to one drug or another. They all have an equal ability to ruin your life and make you a slave.. it's just a matter of what your particular poison is.
