Cocaine Is cocaine actually addicting?

I tried cocaine two weeks ago, I bought 2 peices, railed one (my friend did the other) and then bought 2 more peices as I was coming down. Now it was fun, and the come down from the first peice wasn't a great feeling but I don't see why some people say cocaine is so bad. It was fun but I cannot see myself getting addicted, I am to poor for that and even if I wasn't I have better things to buy.

When people say cocaine is addicting are they talking more about crack cocaine or is it actually common to get addicted to cocaine?

back off with your ghetto highlites pallidpsyche. you might encourage some crack head or coke feign that "yea, I am in control" and go score a bit.
SRS, coke and crack are gross drugs because of the chemical depression if you do a lot (the comedown). If you want an intelligant answer, study some statistics about abuse, relapse and the such. Everybody on this site is pro use/ harm reduction. DO NOT USE COKE.
 
Yes, coke is addictive, both chemically and psychologically. Maybe you got poor quality gear. But also don't confuse its potential to increase immediate cravings and its potential for actual addiction.
 
it is both physically and mentally addicting. I think you shouldn't start using much unless you have alot of willpower. I used daily for 2 years and was able to walk away cold turkey. Some of my old friends are still daily users.

Hm okay, I personally don't have an addictive personality and I like to think I have will power. Although I suppose if I was *silly* enough to use it often for a extended period of time it would be addicting but I'm not about to do that. I just wanted to see what others had to say about it's potential to be addictive.
 
You don't do a drug once and then you instantly become addicted. But IMO from what I've tried coke is the most addicting. I've never said "one more line" over and over with any other drug. And then been tempted to buy some even though I never really enjoyed it a lot.
 
The more coke you do in a short period amount of time, the greater of an addiction you might form to it.

There are better drugs out there IMO.

This is a very basic question that, I am sure, will have been answered many times in the past.

Cocaine can be just as addictive as crack from what I've seen from people.
