Yeah, "findom" is very much a real thing and pretty popular.

It is the stupidest thing I have looked up and realized I have heard of it but was in disbelief.( I didn't have a name for it but ABC news explained it, online.)
This is beyond stupid and very real. A woman is financially dominant towards a submissive man. Not the normal BDSM stuff and absolutely no sex. The guy pays the woman to dominate him financially. Financially it could be over the internet and the guy never meets or even sees the woman IRL.
He may pay her to just talk to her. They
get off on paying to talk to the dominant woman and that could be about anything. He may pay for her to go shopping and waste his money, so he can be near her and talk to her. They may make an arrangement where he pays this woman just to talk for a certain amount of time on a certain number of days for a certain amount of money.
She may be abusive or cruel to him or not.
This is about, a guy with a fetish of being dominated financially to the point of paying to be verbally abused or sometimes not. Sex or being into the whole domination BDSM stuff isn't even there, IRL. He may allow her to control all his finances in extreme situations.
If these guys wants to be verbally abused, with no sex and have their money squandered, why don't these idiots just get married?

Of course it's real. It's a form of "dating" that doesn't require you to get up off the couch. People have replaced every other part of their lives with some online bullshit. Why not sex?

Wish somebody would pay me to be mean to them.
Life has some strange things I guess we wouldn't understand..I really don't believe it though, I just don't see a man wanting to be belittled and give their hard working money away unless they are getting something out of it..until I see evidence of a real Paypig I'm skeptical

I think there is a sexual aspect to at least some of them. It might not be traditional sex, but a lot of these people are involved in bdsm as well.
That being said, there are other fetishes out there that aren't directly sexual so I'm willing to believe that it isn't always directly sexual for some or these people too.
There's also the whole "sugar daddy" community that probably crosses over with this. Some of them basically treat it like "rent a date", but some have made it into a lifestyle.
I sometimes bemoan my relatively low libido but it's a step up from one of these extreme fetishes. No offense to anyone into it, just seems like a really demanding thing to be into.
