Is 2-butoxyethanol safe to use as a solvent?

I'm trying to clean out my vape whip. I don't think I have any pure isopropyl alcohol at hand but I do have Expo whiteboard cleaner. Sounds nasty, I know, but apparently all the stuff contains is isopropyl alcohol, acetone, ethanol, and 2-butoxyethanol. I don't see any problem with using the 2-butoxy since just about all of it will evaporate but I wanted to double check.

MSDS - 2-butoxyethanol. Couldn't find out how well or quickly it evaporates, but iso, acetone, and ethanol should all be safe cleaning solvents.

Hell, even 70% iso would work if you are worried about it... I'm not sure I'd use whiteboard cleaner on my whip or piece - dunno if there is anything in that that isn't listed. According to this MSDS it contains other things that you hadn't listed.

Is expo just solvents, or does it also contain surfactants and shit? Test that it evaporates cleanly, which would mean that there's nothing else in it.

2-butoxyethanol shouldn't be a problem as a solvent either.

Chainer3k, that second MSDS lists water, isopropanol, and 2-butoxyethanol. What are those other ingredients you saw? I don't see any others there....
