Stimulants Irritated red spot on wrist after IV.

So i IVed meth in the crook of my arm around 15 hours ago. I missed around 5 units at the start. An hour and a half later i felt a burning sensation on the underside of my wrist, i then discovered a small red spot 6mm in diameter apearing over the small veins in my wrist, possible two. No more irritation, but the redness remains. Its probably nothing, but if someone could ease my paranoia, i'd appreciate it.

ive never Ived meth so i can't say for sure, but i remember when i first started IVing opiates i would miss on the regular. i was left with HUGE bruises (5 inches long, 2 inches wide) all down my forearm, and that was only after missing once. initially it hurt like hell to just fully extend my arm, but after a couple days the pain went away. the bruises remained for a good two week though :/

Sounds like a typical missed shot. The redness/swelling should go away in about 24 hours. Keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get worse. Infection is always a possibility.
