I would like to introduce myself. I work in the chemistry field and hope someday to make better safer and ever more interesting psychoactive drugs, whether they be pharmaceuticals for helping with depression anxiety or addiction, therapeutic psychedelics, research tools for exploring the mind, or recreational substances. In short, I hope to continue along the line of Shulgin's work. There is nothing more exciting to me than to create and taste a substance that has never before existed.
Drugs will not go away - the more they are fought against, the bigger the problem gets. The best solution to the 'problem' of recreational drug use is to develop a set of relatively safe and minimally addictive recreational drugs and make them widely available legally. This would be an enormous leap in harm-reduction.
I am here to enjoy discussion of my favorite subject and meet others of like mind. Also I am knowledgeable and well-versed on many aspects of the psychoactive drugs so feel free to use me as a resource and PM if there is something you do not feel comfortable discussing on the public board.
