Also, be aware that there is at LEAST one batch going around currently that I believe contains some variety of noxious chemical byproducts from synthesis, I asked my usual vendor for that sort of thing and he told me all the synth work is outsourced. The thought that some
*snip* wanting more weight out of his products for wholesale or on the other hand, just plan inexperienced hirelings etc.
I I'Ved some of this batch of camfetamine both yesterday (just a little) and most of a 5g bag today. In appearance its powder, with a lot of rocky clumps, all slightly off white. When I.Ved there is, as soon as the tourniquet is removed and the drug is allowed its release to go to where its meant to be going there is strange sensation, a sort of catching in the throat, but very briefly.

At least, not without purification. A shame really although I am certainly capable of an acid/base extraction, rextylization from small volumes of MeOH, IPA, THF, chloroform, ether, ethyl acetate, DCM, or whatever seems the best way to go about it.
As it is, the product sold as camphetamine is viciously caustic and corrosive to tissue if it gets onto a mucous membrane or a missed IV shot that goes in subcutm not to mention other properties showing toxicity at higher dosage levels, such as uncontrollable shaking and twitching, muscle weakness, inability to use the affected body part, I can't find a single bloody vein to hit when next I spend my xmas in store bonus credit on some methoxetamine (I fail to get all the talk of snorting or sublingua use, I have found shooting it IV to be by far the most rewarding and enjoyable, or failing that IM administration)
I was fine yesterday, just had a little, and missed no IVs. Due to my only having those AWFUL red-topped insulin syringes that all junkies seem to favour, I doubt I would have missed even one had I my usual 2ml barrels and 32g needles, the BD ones are hard to register with to begin with, let alone under the influence of a strong vasoconstrictor, which I suspect this product, be it true camphetamine( (a great idea for the RC scene, given the praise heaped upon fencamfamine Just a real pity if the nasty side effects turned out to be the drug itself rather than some irritant crap left in by the chindians
As far NCH3 fen camfamine I agree totally. Didn't happen the dam before yesterday when I only had a couple of shots,, today ended up shooting through a 5g bag, there is maybe a gram to one and a half ish looking and gaugng just how bad the side effects are with this batch as is, given IV. Whatever the contaminant is, its pretty unpleasant, noxious stuff
They include elevation of body temperature,, severe ataxia,I am still pretty unsteady on my feed hours after the last injection, a feeling of bearing a massive weight wihin on'es head ( iad to use the one arm I still had use of during this episode to manually pick my head up and provide support to my neck. Couldn't move my head voluntarily. perhape the absolute abyssal part of the experience has been the uncoltrollable, violent tremors. Mostly in my arms and hands, bup also body-wide, including legs and torso.
The shaking and temporary almost-paralysis was pretty unnerving, along with blurry doible vision. Makes me wonder if I may perhaps have accidentally inflicted some nerve damage by missing a shot close to where a nerve might be. Fuck only knows what its doing when IVed, but miss a shot, and you will know about it!. Only really started shooting camfetamine today, bar a wee taste yesterday and already I cannot find one single vein I can IV into ( if I shoot up with anything its pretty much always methoxetamine, which seems very much benign to akin and mucus membranes. The current stuff going around as camfetamine on the other hand is caustic and quite viciously irritant and corrosive to tissue, where I missed shots thanks to shite B&D insulin 1mn needles, which are really blunt and go blunter real quick, even when prepping a second IV immediately after the first one goes in. The bit that leaked was incredibly painful, and in one place, raised a pair of fucking great welts, like many pissed off hymenoptera of some variety had unleashed their worst on a confined area of tissue.
I just hope I haven't caused any neuropathic damage, or vasculitis. Stuff needs a major cleanup and recrystallization before it is suitable for use.
This batch I speak of came as part powder and quite a lot of clumped up rocky bits that need crushing and stirring to dissolve in H2O,and came to me in the form of a slightly offf-white xtyline powder with lots of clumpy solid rocks in the bag, which is marked with a visual description of the skeletal formula of camfetamine, also the formal IUPAC name 'N-methyl-3-phenyl-norbornan-2-amine, a section for a CAS registration number, marked 'N/A in this case, below that 'use:laboratory reagent only then the weight of whatever may have been purchased.
Below the skeleton formula on a reddish background there is a big 'X' and the hazard codes R22, S2, S3, S7 and S8. As stated in my latest post in the camfetamine thread, I don't reckon its a property of camfetamine itself, if it was so irritant and corrosive, then shouldn't some fuss have been raised during clinical use of fencamfamine itself? whatever this byproduct is, its pretty bloody evil stuff,
The severe tremor was eventually only controlled 4x192 mg lots of chlormethiazole base, a couple of loprazolam tablets and pregabalin along with 200mg of lamotrigine, in case the twitching, shaking and muscle weakness was of an epileptiform origin arising centrally rather than locally. I am very glad to report that pretty much all evidence of the violent tremors of earlier are gone, or managed effectively, a;though my vision is still a little blurry, even with glasses on. Could be to do with pupil dilation however, fuckers are the size of dinner plates.
I will do my best to contact the man who runs my usual vendor site,inform him about the nature of the issue, ask for analysis printouts etc. and most importantly, attempt to find out the synthetic method to produce the camfetamine (or whatever else it may be) in the lab they hired out. Not good business burning holes in your customers
and the guy in question, without naming vendors or their websites, I have spoken to him and he seems alright, so hopefully something would get done about it.
