Heroin Intranasal heroin drip???

Ok so whenever I sniff my dope, I sniff it then use some water to "unclog it" so it will drip down my throat. Whic some gets swallowed. Should I not be doing this and either not use water and just sniff hard or should I let it stay in my nose??? What's most effective bec I know that the swallowed is basically going to waste. Thanks!

Snort lightly and give it 30min to absorb then clean out your nose with water. Or you could plug your heroin.

The whole point of snorting any drug is for it to absorb through your nose... Forcing a drip is most definitely a huge waste

This. You want it to sit deep in your nose where all the blood cells are so it can be absorbed.. if you're getting a lot of drip, you are in effect taking the dope orally, which is a very inefficient ROA.

You could put some water in your nose BEFORE you snort just to clear youur nose out, but as everyone else has said, you want the powder to stay in your nose for at least ten or fifteen minutes in order for ir to be properly absorbed.

Yeah SWIM does something similar. he snorts his dope, lets it chill up there for about fifteen min, then actually blows his nose out because he doesn't like the burn in his throat from the drip. still gets the job done though.

Yup. He basically hit the nail on the head. If you've got a lot of drip going on, it's all going into your stomach instead of getting absorbed in your nose. & the bioavailability of dope is like %10 or some shit, so not very high.

If you want to get more out of your heroin, and still continue to snort it... try snorting smaller lines, instead of sniffing huge lines that cake the inside of your nose. You'll absorb more snorting smaller lines, then you would if you just coated the inside of your nose with a huge line. By doing it that way, you won't be wasting any of that dope you're swallowing. So just try that out a couple times and see where it gets you.

...If you're going to snort .2, try doing it over a period of about 5-10 minutes, making small lines. Instead of just cutting it up and putting a point up each side of your nose.

yuuuup. youre basically waterlining your dope (ppl who want to nasally use tar will do this if they dont want to smoke it or iv it since its not exactly like you can take out a card and chop lines. if you really want to maximize it, do kinda tiny lines after using water or saline/nasal spray hatever to open you nasal passages...tho the more irritated they get the more mucosa thy will produce and if you use stuff like afrin you will have rebound effect akin to doing lines of super glue. let it fully absorb tru your sinuses then do more if you arent where you wan to be. some dope just ets cu so poorly by ppl who have no clue on how to do it that if you wind up with crushed pills in there snorting all that hard starch is going to be a nightmare.

I weep for all the dope you've been wasting. I didn't know people could screw up snorting. Snorting hard? Common mistake, but you're literally washing it away. Snort very, very soft. You want to sniff just hard enough to get it back into your sinus, where it should stay. Leave it be for twenty minutes or so. Pretty easy.

It's pretty common for people to have incorrect practices and views when it comes to drug administration, particularly IV and intranasal, because movies and TV (the majority of peoples prime source for drug info and using behavior) portray it wrong. They routinely show people snorting very fast and hard, people IV'ing with incorrect equipment, cooking their dope when they shouldn't be, ect. That is where the misconceptions and stereotypical drug using ideas come from, passed down through friends who show other friends, and so on.
