Apologies if this is in the wrong forum topic.

Basically, my situation is:

Sunday night I slept about two hours, insomnia, not really sure why, not worried or depressed about anything at the moment.

Last night (Monday night) it happened again, except I didn't sleep at all.

Around 3:30/4am, I was still laying wide awake in bed, not anxious or annoyed about anything, just thinking about various things. In a neutral/positive way, one might say.

Anyway, long story short, It's now 7:30am Tuesday morniing, I need to leave for work in an hour, and I've barely slept in two nights (calling in sick is not really an option, v v busy atm).

I take sertraline 50mg every day, and am currently in month 5 of a 12 month break from methylphenidate (Concerta 36mg)

In my Cupboard I have amphetamine paste and Rivotril (Clonazepam) 2mg. Would a combination of these two level me out and get me through the day, if I keep eating and don't expose myself to too much stress?
Work in an office, can pretty much hide behind my computer and be quiet all day.

Has anyone had any similar situations, or have any advice they can share?

Peace (I can wish, right?)

Somehow I don't think it's a smart idea... the obvious geeking effects and strong physical load of amphetamine are way more prevalent if you're sleep deprived.

Take a Klonopin maybe but otherwise stick to coffee... save the amphetamine for a better day when you can enjoy it.

Amphetamines could help, but as sekio rightly pointed out, they will probably just make you feel tweaked to fuck; you're gonna have a bad time.
In your situation I've found a nice sugary breakfast powers me throughout the first part of the day, and a couple of redbulls and valiums over luncg keep me going until i get home.

Why do you incline to take more drugs when it should be a last resort? This is not a good idea at all and it could worsen your condition in the end.

You should go to a doctor and get complex blood work done. It could simply be a deficiency of something or hormonal problems. If only stress is to be blamed, then if you completely get rid of it, you should get better without drugs anyway. Amphetamines and benzodiazepines are one of the worst drugs to avoid stress in the long run. Coffee may not be a good idea either even though it's culturally accepted as a weak stimulant. Different people react differently, some hardly feel any stimulatory side effects, but some are extremely sensitive to caffeine's effects and that is a short way to increase your anxiety and further disrupt sleep.

I made it through the day with tiny doses of speed (maybe 5-10mg) and clonazepam (1/8 of a 2mg tab) every 2 hours.

I wouldn't recommend it for fun, but as a last resort, I got to work, did my job, didn't make too many mistakes, went home and slept 12 hours.

However, I had the worst comedown of my life, and stayed at home alone on New Year's Eve.

Be careful with yourselves guys x
