Okay so I have gotten to the point in my bachelor's degree civil engineering program where I REALLY need to pic a specialization.

Im stuck between structural engineering, Water Resources Engineering (hhydrology/hydraulics), and Geotechnical Engineering ( soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and foundation engineering).

It seems like finding statistics on hiring demand for these within California would be the best thing to do but im really having trouble finding this info online. Anyone know of any good websites for this kind of thing?

Are you in the U. S.? My husband is a geotechnical engineer and I'm sure he would be willing to talk to you about the realities of that field. PM me if you'd like.
