Opioids infection?

I have a large red bump that is swollen and hard and hot to touch on my hip (where I injected an opiate)
I cant go to emerg....any advice would be extre:sus:mely. Helpful

The best advice anyone could give you in this type of situation would be to go to the hospital incase it gets any worse. One small bump now could mean a loss of your limb later. We can't give any medical advice, that's what the real docs are for, and asking if something is infected isn't going to get you too far when really you don't know if it's infected or not until you seek medical treatment.
Hoping you can go to the hospital soon, closed.
