I LOVE LOVE LOVE listening/dancing to industrial music when Im rolling...does anyone else like Front 242, Frontline Assembly, Nitzerebb etc...when they are all fucked up? It sounds so INTENSE to me

the only downside is that I can never make it out to see them live, Id be beaten to a pulp no doubt...

depends. i need the emotional contrast from time to time. hard trance for beauty and good. tribal techno/industrial for whatever's left.

my sista!
rollin on hard industrial is INSANE. try c-tec's foetal: the first time i rolled (this summer), it was just kickin in as the chorus came on: we're on our way to being gods. i blew up like the happiest goth in the world.
also the spacefrog remix of headhunter.
peace

I agree with you 100%
I always have to listen to some Front Line at some point in the night. Heh...I once left the club and went to my car just to listen to a particular song.
Saw them in Atlanta a few years back and the show was UNBELIEVABLE. UNfortunately they haven't even come close to my area in a while

If you are lucky enough to have a good club in your area that plays gothic/INDUSTRIAL, Its every bit as awsome as a rave. You just have to give the club regulars there space. I love dancing to industrial music too.
here are some good bands that Play Industrial music that i enjoy lisenting to..
BiGod 20
Front 242 (is ok)
Skinny puppy (kinda darker)
Orgy (a bit mainstream right now)
Nitzerebb
Lords of acid(kinda techno)
Front line assembly (any is great)
if you like german bands try "Das Ich" (the newer stuff)
There are some great Industrial Samplers out there too. I really like the Clock DVA, Click Click, Die Form, and tons of others...
You all have to check out "Dead can dance", talk about some blow up or even chill out stuff, shivers every time i listen. Yummy

Hahah...I draw the line at Skinny Puppy, dude!

Puppy! Damn, if you haven't heard the Autechre remix of "Killing Game" off the Dystemper Remix album, you're missing one incredible sonic sculpture. If you're visiting Uncle Sid, you will go far far away.... Have to have that at least once during that sort of night. For rolls, I like Van Dyk, Sasha & Digweed, Hallucinogen...

A lot of industrial/experimental music is great when rolling. I often play Coil, Severed Heads and Current 93 as well as FLA and Skinny Puppy."Walking on Ice" gives me the tingles whether I'm rolling or not

Oh, Rolex: If you like Dead Can Dance (as anyone with a serious interest in music should

you should check out most of the early stuff published by 4AD, especially This Mortal Coil - "Filligree and Shadow", double album, total sonic beauty.
