This is the only place I can think where nobody will say 'good riddance to one more junkie reject'.
So I am placing this here.

My best friend of many years, whom none of you knew in person, died while undergoing his 2nd surgery because of endocarditis last Saturday evening.
He died a month after his 36th birthday and he was half the world to me.


It is so hard to lose you
You meant so much to me
You are my brother - heart
That's who you'll always be
Oh how much I miss you
I wish you could have stayed
But the memories I have of you
At least will never fade
I wish you hadn't left me
But you did not go alone
For a part of me went with you
When the sunset called you home
So just remember one thing :
