Bupe in all sereousness how do i get on this suboxone ive read so much on it...

Ive read so much about this drug on here im starting to think it may help me alot.
I was wondering how do i get on it ??
who exactly do i see.
My owne personal doctor??
and what do i ask or say about getting on this .
I herd it was hard up here in Canada..

suboxone.com has a doctor finder, but is specific to the US.

Call the phone number on the site.

Any doctor that takes the course on prescribing suboxone can do so. Their practices vary from psyciatry, to pain management, to general. It's all a matter of applying and taking the course.
 
you need to find a doctor who is qualified to prescribe suboxone for opiate addiction. I think all they gotta do to qualify is take an online course or something but anyway.... you might be able to find a doctor locator online somewhere, possibly on suboxone's website. if not I would call your main doc and explain to him your situation and that you need to be referred to a doctor that can prescribe you suboxone or that does suboxone maintenance.

there has been TONS of info on this exact question discussed on Bluelight allready. i think if you do a quick search you should find what you are seeking. also, the above 2 posts have good info as well.
 
^If you're doctor isn't able to prescribe bupe (not exactly sure how it works in CA, sorry), there isn't a whole lot he could except maybe point you to someone who is.

As also has been said, this has been discussed quite a bit around here and we have the suboxone mega thread already established for this discussion so I suggest reading through there (or one of its various incarnations) and if you have further questions to ask in there.
