hello there!

im reclaim, or just r. Im a full time uni student and new to blue light! I have been lurking for a while but I want to get in on the conversations.... I just want a place to talk to people that know what its like without judgement. I am coming up on 3 years clean from Xanax and dear god is it hard. I have danced the line awfully closed for the short amount of time I have been on this planet, enough to make me want to back away from drugs but I always feel myself going back. Its definitely hard having to stop myself from doing as much as I would like but its for the best.. right? Anyways, in about 8 days ill be 3 years clean! time flies when you're busy I suppose. I really just want to be able to talk to people who have been in my shoes before, complicated family and personal history with drugs and all that fun stuff.

Ok, welcome to bluelight.

Benzos and I have a long and sometimes "troubling" history. Most of it trying to ease my mind but of underlying issues so these "issues" recur at the unlikliest of times.

Anyways, in about 8 days ill be 3 years clean!

Congrats on that I have managed a year off here and there but was drawn back to a "novel" RC benzo (now scheudled since end of Jan '23).
Nice to meet ya and hope to have more chats on this subject.

Hi,

Welcome! If you ever need someone to talk to feel free to DM me. I just quit stimulants about a month and a half ago. I had a rough run in with a very easily accessed drug that caused me some minor brain damage and almost lost my vision so I definitely understand the desire to quit a specific drug and the challenges that come with it.

I only use kratom, cannabis and psychedelics now occasionally on the psychedelics.
