You act as if you care.
You said I was your friend.
You said you would be there if I needed you.
You said I was your friend.
You convinced me to follow you down the path.
I thought you were my friend.
You stabbed me in the back to gain what you
thought I had.
Friends are just an illusion.
They said they would love me, no matter what.
They were my family.
They said they would do anything for me.
They were my family.
They disowned me when I changed.
I thought they were my family.
They don’t see that I exist anymore.
Family is just an illusion.
I cared about you more than life itself.
I loved you.
I felt pain when you weren’t near.
I loved you.
You led me on and then dropped my heart.
I thought I loved you.
You used me to get what you wanted.
Love is just an illusion.
It’s all just a series of heartaches and problems.
