DJ Micro is one of the US's premiere dance music producer/DJ/remixers. With over thirteen years behind the turntables, Micro's ability to whip dance floors into a frenzy has made him a clubbing sensation. Starting out in the early nineties along side such East Coast luminaries as Frankie Bones, Adam X and Onionz, Micro helped to put the New York underground on the global dance map with his energetic fusion of styles; his live sets described by XLR8R as "unleashing a groove too thick to mention" and by URB as "spiced with rippling acid melodies and plenty of surging drumrolls."
Micro's thirst for new sounds and DIY ethic led him to form the seminal dance label Caffeine, which spawned the longtime East Coast clubbing institution of the same name, where, as resident and main man, Micro rocked capacity crowds week after week. As a natural progression from his success as a DJ, label owner and promoter, Micro began creating his own music. In 1994 he joined with Vicious Vic under the moniker Progression. The duo became overnight heroes in the international dance scene following the release of their massive debut single Reach Further. They were soon commissioned to remix artists from Paradise 3001 and Joe T. Vanelli to Masters at Work, and the X Files theme.
Following on heels of Progression, Micro went on to produce a string of successive hits for respected dance labels Ministry of Sound, Strictly Rhythm, Nervous/Sorted, Adrenalin, Moonshine, and Black Sunshine. With Micro's visibility and reputation continuing to grow, he began performing at clubs and raves worldwide, including tours of the US, Japan, England, Canada and Brazil.

First female Fever/Buzz Battle of the DJs Champion (1997) & Urb’s Next 100 (2001), Shortee spins Drum & Bass, Breaks, Funk, Soul, Hip Hop, Rock & House worldwide & her unique contribution to the art of scratching & beat juggling for the last 13+ years earned her a spot as the only female DJ featured in Doug Pray's critically acclaimed movie "SCRATCH" (Palm Pictures). In addition to being featured in many other documentaries, Shortee has also made numerous TV appearances & her most recent is the role of DJ for the Tyra Banks Show on Tyra's club themed episodes & a celebrity cameo in a Sony PSP commercial.
In 1998, Shortee made her production debut on Faust's "Man or Myth" (first turntablist album ever released also featuring Craze & Shotgun), followed by "The Fathomless EP",w/ Faust & DJ Craze containing the first Drum & Bass tracks comprised solely of scratching. In 1999, Shortee's full- length solo debut "The Dreamer" became the first & only turntablist album produced by a female and she has since released multiple joint albums with DJ Faust as well as singles, battle records, remixes, countless mix cds & appeared solo & jointly on numerous compilations. Her music has attracted licensing features & aired on networks worldwide. Recently, Faust & Shortee's song”Drumcircle" (Digital Soul) is the theme song for "MTV SPORTS UNLIMITED AXXESS" & their remix of India Irie's "Shine" is the theme song for "THE TYRA BANKS SHOW". Together Faust & Shortee have launched 2 labels of their own: 5 Star Records (Battle/DJ Tools) & Heavy Artillery Recordings (Drum & Bass/Breaks) and their drum & bass tune “AWAY’ (Load Recordings UK) was nominated for best jungle/dnb track in the 2008 International Dance Music Awards! A head professor at The Scratch DJ Academy co-founded by RUN DMC's Jam Master Jay, Shortee teaches 3 courses (Mixing151, Scratching202 & Beatjuggling303) at the Los Angeles branch.In addition, Shortee teaches DJ/Remix courses for the esteemed Grammy Foundation, DJ workshops for LA’s SAE Institute & various instructional tours for Sprite & Channel One News. She’s produced her own instructional DVD series "Shortee's DJ 101", "Shortee's DJ 202" & "Turntable Tune-Up" available worldwide. Most recently Shortee has created 17 DJ instructional videos for the Grammy Foundation entitled “Shortee’s DJ Sessions” releasing online & on DVD in 2008.
Shortee’s DJ sets are seamless whether she appears solo or part of a group & is well-known for her 4-turntable shows w/ DJ Faust as URBAN ASSAULT (Hip Hop/Funk/Drum & Bass). Shortee rocks 4 turntable shows with fellow female turntablist, Annalyze as TWICE AS NICE & she recently joined forces with Reid Speed & MC Tali to form QUEENS OF THE JUNGLE, a 4 turntable female D&B crew.

As owner and co-founder of Bang Tech 12, DJ Seoul has been tearing up the Detroit Techno scene for 11years. Playing a wide assortment of music, from electro to hip hop to rare groove to house to minimal, DJ Seoul is known for bringing a turntablist hip hop style of mixing to his set no matter what genre he is playing.
DJ Seoul has played from coast to coast in the states as well as parts of Canada as well. He has held many residencies including One X, Buddha Lounge, Marilyns on Monroe, Lager House, All Star Cafe, Green Room, Flavor, as well as many more. As a promoter, Bang Tech 12 is responsible for some of the best events in Detroit in the mid to late nineties. Some of the events include Vertigo, Sounds of Futures Past, and Rampage just to name a few. Now Bang Tech 12 is purely concerned with just producing music and small events for Detroit. The days of the big party events are over in Detroit. Now the focus is on small invite only underground events and doing the larger events at legal venues located in the greater Metropolitan Detroit area. As a producer, DJ Seoul has a few different monikers. One of these is " Funk Shui" which is stripped down electro that has an old school feel to it designed for breakers and turntablists.
