Its possible. Why not just split the contents of the vial into half or whatever, pour your share into another small, sterile container and both of you enjoy your trips without having to dip each others needles into one vial? I'd hate to K-hole with that small worry behind my head eating into my space zone

Yes, it is possible. I have no idea what the exact odds are, but why be stupid about it when it's so easy to pour half into another receptacle?
