You'd be surprised how many people stay away from pot just because of it's legal status compared to booze... I'd legalize cannabis for sure... I wouldn't make booze illegal, but i'd put such huge taxes on it, that people would think twice about buying it.
In Canada, the taxes on booze are insane, compared to the states.. it's expensive. Same with cigarettes...
