Id probably be hitting either Toronto or Vancouver myself. I love where I am but the location isnt one of them. If I were to change countries Id probably go to Westchester, PA to vomit drunk ln Bam Margeras mini ramp and then Id come back to Vancouver needing safe supply after just a minute of being on that guys property (oh shit a Bam diss).

Toronto's alright.

Vancouver is also alright.....except for the 8 fucking months a year it straight rains. I could never live there because of that.

Relocate? Parry Sound....I love Georgian Bay and that's the biggest town on the thing. That or just straight to Killarney....the weird outpost LCBO there has a very surprisingly varied and great selection of international and domestic stuff so at least there's that in the small village.

Or Yukon.....I love the north. Or PEI.

Or Barbados.

I got, I got it.....Barbados summer home. Parry Sound other summer home. Yukon other other summer home. Winter.......PEI.

I've always kinda wanted to move out to Oregon. That or California. Or Florida. I'd like to leave the Mid-Atlantic at some point in my life.

Is this a trick question or what? 🤣

Well IF I was that side of the world (which I'm not obviously) then South America it would be. Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, take your pick. Exactly which town or city: wouldn't have a clue but probably somewhere quiet and remote anyway e.g. a little smallholding maybe? Peace and quiet, no mobile phone signal, no Internet, no social media, you get the idea.

And apparently: the general consensus on the Interweb seems to be that in the event of a nuclear war South America (and South Africa go figure) would be just fine because the rest of the world doesn't give a shit.

It is also said of South America that the flora is something to behold! 🤣 Maybe a few Alpacas too and you're set!

Come to think of it: I wonder what happened to that dude that (supposedly) accidentally ordered a few Alpacas online by mistake?

Colorado from when i first watched The shining the opening part the mountains loved it

Yeah, central and western Colorado is nice. Drove down to Aspen from northeast Utah once and then west out of there to southeast Utah. It's quite nice there.

I also wouldn't mind Patagonia for it's antarctic and edge of world vibe! Or pretty well anywhere in Chile.

I'm in Boston and wouldn't mind living in NYC or Peru and surrounding countries.

I'm assuming you've been to NYC. What about it do you like more than Boston?

I've been to both but not since the 90s and to me, Boston was my fav US city of decent size.

I don't like it more than Boston, just wouldn't mind living there for the extra stimulation. I love the hustle and bustle of big cities.

Boston is great - i probably won't ever move. Very walkable city, public transportation is nice, doesn't discriminate against any dishes of food, lots of colleges, cute financial district even though it smells like piss in some spots, on the water, and i couldn't care less about the historical aspect of the city but it's there if you wanna follow the fucking yellow bricks. And ride the ducklings.

I heard in the 90's the "combat zone" was a lot worse than it is now. But you probably didn't even make it south of Mass Ave to see. Did you?

I live in the zone now and it's really not that bad. It helps when people think you're crazy because you wear jesus sandals in the snow 8)

Don't know, to be honest. I was quite young. Probably around 13. I do remember my parents not giving a fuck though and driving us into all manner of "interesting" neighbourhoods in various different cities we visited. I especially remember some seriously grimy shit in NYC and DC.

I did go to Detroit as an adult though and stayed just outside some of the worst shit there and then almost got jumped in another part of Detroit, near downtown. So, if it's anything like that, I can imagine. Doubt it though, Detroit in 2007 was like a third world country war zone.

You'd fit right in here! Especially in my neighbourhood!
