i just went from a heavy heroin habit, to bupe which I took about 5 mg under the tounge 10 hours ago. I am still in bad WD, way better than Id feel without the bupe but its still hard to function. If i took some heroin n0ow would the bupe completely block it or could I get some more relief from WD?

Any chance you are in precipitated WD? For example, when did you take the bupe relative to your last heroin dose? In order for bupe to work, you need to be in mild to moderate withdrawal from heroin when you take it.

why dont you take more bupe?

Because I hate bupe, taking more doesnt make me feel better and taking more will make it longer before I can take heroin.

ANyway, I just shot dope 13 hours after taking 5 mg of suboxone and I feel the dope for sure, it just isn't as intense as it should be and the rush was very lacking. But it definitely helped me feel better.

no, the bupe made me feel quite a bit better. I was actually able to get out of bed and go to work, which would have been impossible without the bupe. I waited about 15 hours after my last heroin dose to take the bupe.

Anyway, I shot 2 packs of heroin a couple hours ago and I feel fine now. Well, my legs still ache a bit but Id say I feel 90%.

Bupe blocks dope. Unless you wait a couple days and get the bupe low enough in your system to penetrate threw it, it will be a waste of dope. If you're on bupe and want something that synergizes with it, try tramadol. I've noticed that tramadol in conjuction with bupe actually can produce some decent euphoria and pain relief. Just my 2 cents.

Yah doing dope on bupe is a bad idea for one because it raises your tolerance very very quickly. And usually your suppose to wait about 18 to 24 hours, 24 hours being the best, before you take the bupe so you have no chance of precipitated wds. But I also agree that while on bupe you can definantly still get high, not as high but definantly high.

Yeah it was a waste. I mean I definitely felt it but maybe only 35% as muich as if it I had been on bupe. I cant wait for the bupe to get out of my system.

God it just takes so long to get out of your system though because it has a tremendously long half life. If I remember correctly it takes about 72 hours to be good and clean of it which is a long time to go thru without anything. I remember a while ago when I first moved away I was taking bupe and was eventually taking such a small small amount maybe .15 to .2 mg of it and I went back home for the weekend and it had only been about 12 hours since my last dose and I did some dope which I would have thought my tolerance was very low maybe a $10 pack to get high but I was way wrong. I had to do at least a $40 bag to feel nice and even when the bupe was out of my system my tolerance stayed that high.

No-:As stated I would just stick with the bupe. You've already taken it so stick with it (even though you don't prefer it). Take a little more OR waut until you are in wd's to dose your H. The bupe WILL block it-it'll be a waste of H.

Yeah, Bupe has a ridiculously long half life. It binds to your receptors for an ungodly long time. I hate it when I run out of Bupe, have other opiates, but can't feel them and help the bupe withdrawal because it's still lingering in my system. Again, I personally like to take Tramadol while going threw Bupe withdrawal. Tramadol does wonders for this. I have found though, to be honest, if I'm on my, lets say 1st or 2nd day of bupe withdrawal, other opiates DO actually help warm me up a little, so it's not like they are totally blocked. I'll say it again, I'm a big advocate of Tramadol. Not just for bupe withdrawal, but even in conjuction with it. People frown upon Tramadol often thinking it's worthless(all because of how it was first marketed as non addictive and non narcotic), but the truth is, Tramadol can be a great pain reliever while producing a noticably high increase in mood.

But one more thing, and I feel obligated to say this after all I've said about Tramadol. It does cause very bad withdrawal symptoms once you're dependent on it. And that's an understatement.

I dont have any tramadol so that's not an option. I just shot another pack of heroin and got better effects than before but I'd say 50% of the effects are being blocked. So annoying. It's been 22 hours since I took the bupe.

In my experience, burn out, I generally have to wait at least 48-72 hours before I get the desired effects I'm looking for on any full agonist opiate. Heroin, you might be able to get the full effect in 36-48 hours, but it definitely depends on how long you were on the subs and how much you were taking. For example, I only do suboxone a couple times a week, in between my tramadol use, so I generally only have to wait 2 days to get my desired results.

I only took one dose of sub. I just tried taking heroin again and its still blocked. This is so annoying. It's been 34 hours.
