I have a question that maybe someone could help me out with. I've been taking 4 10/325mg Norco's for the last 3 years or so for pain in my knee's. My knee's get swollen almost everyday so on top of the Norco I take any where from 2-4 200mg Ibuprofen to bring the swelling down (which works). My problem is I have acid reflux and the combination of the Tylenol and Ibuprofen upsets my stomach. I can take one or the other and not have a problem, it's just when I mix the 2 that bothers me. It sucks cause I need to take the Norco for the pain and the Ibuprofen helps with the swelling, I could careless about the Tylenol cause it doesn't even help. I go to see my doctor tomorrow and I'm thinking about asking to be switched to Ibudone 10/200mg instead of the Norco. Do you think this would be a good route to go? I know Ibuprofen is suppose to be harder on your stomach than Tylenol so I don't now if I should even switch sense some days I only take a couple Ibuprofen's vs some days I take 4 (the days I take 4 is when my stomach really gets upset when coupled together with the Tylenol). With me having acid reflux I just don't know if being on something like Ibudone for a long period of time would be a bad thing sense everything I've heard suggests Ibuprofen is worse than Tylenol on your stomach. Any opinions or help with this matter would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
