Has any1 ever tried this? I think that it comes from a root of a plant in Africa. It supposed to have hallucinogenic effects that surpass any other drug. People who are addicted to coke use it to see if they don't become addicted anymore. I might be blowing smoke out of my ass, so can someone sum this up for me.

I believe Ibogaine is the root or bark of a large plant that only grows in South America. It has been used ritually for thousands of years by the indian tribes there. The active intoxicant is either harmine or DMT. I've seen photos of indians ingesting it by having their buddy blow the powdered ibogaine up a long tube as they snort. The indians are known for taking hugge doses, often resulting in sneezing fits and convulsions - go figure. I think William Burroughs and Terrance McKenna have both gone deep into the jungle looking for this stuff.
 
Is it grown in South America.... Thanx I thought it was in Africa. Anyway if you have the chance to try this drug TAKE IT, not only is it rare, but it's gonna be something out of this world!!!
