I want to start holding testing booths at local events.

Well, as MDMA is illegal.. I'd imagine testing MDMA is illegal.

Unfortunately, good intentions just aren't enough sometimes.
 
I know that ez test has had booths set up before.
The problem is that people will think that you are advocating the use of MDMA. And regardless of the fact that you are at a rave, it is still looked down upon and illegal.
Your intent, while admirable, does not make it legal.
If you set it up outside, you're doing nothing but making the job of security easier...they see everyone walking away from your booth and flag them for search.
If you have it inside...well you're gonna lose a bunch of money, because you'll need more than one kit, and you gotta drop a pretty penny on those booth rentals...

I'll be honest, it's a great idea. But you'd be better off taking your test kit in and offering your services that way.
 
i was at an event last weekend in melbourne and though the exact same thing. Its not promoting e use its just keeping people safe especially with everyone buying inside. Wont happen, especially not in aus.
 
im from the bay, and would be down, but i'm pretty sure its asking for trouble. testing drugs is far from discreet.

How has EZ Test been able to have booths set up in the past then?

It would never work, even though it's a good idea. MDMA is illegal, in every single country that I would ever want to set foot in. Security knows there are drugs there, and they don't care, but they can only turn a blind eye so much, and if people whip out bags of white powder in front of them they have no choice but to do something about it.

Good question.
I'm not sure how recent it was, but ive seen footage where they have a booth set up and there are people going up to them and getting their pills tested.

They also have the money for stuff like that... It's not like EZ test is a bunch of broke asses.
Etards the world over buy from them. So they have the money to do that stuff.

Regardless of whether or not I set up a booth or two myself at a friends event,

I'd still like to know the history of these "testing booths".
 
In the past the authorities were pretty relaxed when it came to MDMA testing as it was seen a safe party is better than a bad party. These days the organisers just want your money and are too afraid of losing their licence etc.

DONT openly test pills for people as you can be arrested - IF you want to go down this route then take your test kit but have no pills on you and dont touch any. Simply put a drop or two of your marquis onto your test surface (upturned soda can) and let the person your testing for put the sample in the liquid.

I personally would rather print out a few pages of clean / piperazine reports on the latest 10 20 pills and hand them out.

What I do is copy the list to a note on my phone and then I can bluetooth it to anyone interested :)

Small Town Ecstasy or something right? That shit was awesome haha, then they dropped acid and I was like fuuuuuck! Lucky assholes.

I think the idea of having a testing booth is good and all but you do run in to many risks which will probably get you looking over your shoulder a lot, and shutting it down a lot of the times. I guess just as long as you are familiar with the event and know you won't deal with security, police walking around, then I say go for it. I wouldn't mind being able to see if I got some good shit and watch my pills be one of the few that turn instantly black >:P

of course, if I feel that love in the air and see a poor guy/girl with pipes then I'll hand them a freebie to make their night :D
 
This isn't anything new at all.. well not in the bay area for that matter.. now I have been out of the scene for a few years now.. I would say 4-5 years to be exact but circa 1999-2000 era there was testing booths at parties and massive events and the police didn't even bother the people who ran the booths.. I personally never used the booths as I would buy from my own personal source and bring it in but friends have used it with me being right there and everything was simple and easy with no static from the fuzz.. its a great idea.. its been done.. I'm sure it would be difficult to obtain permits & license for this though now a days.
