I thought vaporizors were supposed to get you BLAZED off little weed.

I've already heard vaporizors are awesome for conserving weed and getting you blazed as fuck.

Well me and my gf finally got the money to order a vapor bros. vaporizor and I don't get NEARLY as high, or possibly not high at all from it.

I'm almost 100% certain I am doing it right as well. Its not the weed either. Like .1-.2 g's of this stuff out of a bong gets my flying high as fuck. me and my gf put almost .5 or more in the vape and I got a slight head buzz, thats it.

I have played with the temp and I get it as low as it goes while still producing vapor. I suck in and sure enough vapor comes out of my mouth but thats about the extent of it. Last night I took roughly 6-10 hits and held it in long as fuck and just about nothing happened.

We smoke until that popcorn flavor starts and I look at the weed and its pretty brown so thats obviously the sign that its done for.

I mean there is a slight head high, but there is no confusion, no body high, I am almost completely sober, although my eyes get a little red.

What gives?
 
you might just be unfamiliar with the vape high....it is different. I say give it a little more time to grow on you...
 
it could be the temp is too low but you're probably just not used to the high. In my experience, vapos don't really fuck you up, they give you a clean and awake high.
 
does your vape give you a specific temperature to go to, or is it one of those vapes that just have like a dial that goes from low to high and doesn't tell you what the temp in between is?


either you're not doing it right, you got shitty weed, or you bought a shitty vape. once you get the temperature right it's pretty difficult not to get high using a vaporizer.
 
Try around 345F or so is a good temp I've found. Make sure you let it heat up first and that you are seeing the vapor coming through the tube or into the balloon bag.

What type of Vap are you using? Some may not be as good as others. One buddy of mine has the Volcano and another friend has the Vapir One. I find both to work great for me (and why someone would spend $700 on a Vap to get the same effect is beyond me, but whatev).

Damn, vaps are so nice and clean... i barely ever cough. It is a different high for sure, especially if you are used to smokin out of a nice bong. But you should definitely be getting blazed off of good weed.
 
Turn up the temp and don't set your expectations so high. Vaporizers don't make your weed magical and knock you over the head with a full body opiate buzz. They utilize every bit of THC making your weed last longer and don't fuck up your lungs with carcinogens.

More importantly don't compare the high to a bong high. Two completely different things.
 
Frankly, I don't think vaporizers are half as efficient as they claim to be. I suspect they don't break apart the cellular material thereby leaving some of the goods locked up. And what it does vaporize, surely some of it also condenses on the whip as you inhale resulting in the need for regular cleaning. (I much prefer my short glass whip compared to the plastic one for both taste and effect).

I still use one religiously now though and i've grown used to the high I get - in fact I prefer it now - it's so...... pure.

^^if you don't have the temperature right then you can have some vapors come off but a lot of the "goods still locked up."

that's why some people are able to get away with vaping their buds once, re-bagging it and selling it as shwag/dirt/shit.
 
i vap, take the left over buds, and bake brownies. fuckin bomb dig. That alone makes it worthwhile.
 
Your vaporizer sucks or you don't know how to use it, thread over. My vaporizer changed my life, including many other people I know.
 
along with raising the temp., you also need to grind the pot as finely as possible (so that you expose the most surface area to the heat). i like to let mine sit out for a little bit, then throw it in a shot glass and chop it as close to powder as i can w/ scissors.
 
THC vaporizes at a much lower temperature than many of the other psychoactive or synergistic cannabinoids.

THC alone lacks much of a body high. You really need to crank your vap up to 420'F or more to get everything out of it, and you need to make sure your cannabis is ground to as fine a powder as possible. Freezing and unfreezing your powdered weed a few times over the course of a day may break down the cellular walls and make vaporization more effective.
 
hmmm - grinding isn't supported by my vaporizer - it requires whole small buds (although it's possible to sandwich ground gear between two buds).

Not that I really care, I get way stoned anyway off very little weed.
