I only care when I'm alone.
Loneliness chills to the bone.
In thoughts and tears I drown.
My world's turned upside-down.

When I'm out and about,
I'm shed of all self-doubt
wondering what I did
and why your feelings hid.

I don't even get sad
'bout losing what we had.
I'm happy I'm unbound,
and freedom is the sound.

The pain that you don't see
is deep inside of me.
I slowly go insane.
Our friendship starts to wane.

So here I sit in silence,
feeling inner violence.
Though understand I try,
can't help but wonder why, why...

Why wouldn't you tell me
instead of purposely
avoiding my contact?
I deserved more that that.
You should've let me know.
I waited, time is slow,
for you to show a sign
of your true love, divine.

But now I sit here,
and I'm yet to hear...

WHY?

WHY?

I don't care when with friends,
don't wanna tie loose ends,
don't chase the love you'd shown.
I only care when I'm alone.
