I know someone who mix's cocaine with xanax (takes the eddge)

Back in the day when I used to stay up all night partying at the bars and doing key bumps in the bathrooms I always drank a lot more alcohol to take the edge off relax me a little bit. I recenty had this friend two told me he mix's the two (coke and xanax) all the time. He says it takes the edge off. Those days are over for me, but I wonder if that is actually safe to do. It's not like its the next day he mixes them both together and blasts them. (from what he has told me) anyone with any experience with that?
 
I'm prescribed 8mg's of xanax a day and although it will help you sleep after a coke binge, it's very dangerous to do them while still feeling the effects of one or the other. The xanax slows down your heart rate through your CNS and the coke amps up the same stuff and it takes a heavy toll on your heart that could be lethal. The dangers are similar to speedballing.
 
When some is ODing on cocaine, the first thing they give you in the ambulance is typically IV xanax. The stuff actually stops you from dying. When I did incredible amounts of cocaine 5-6 years ago, I always had zanax and would take 1mg every 6-8 hours, as my friends all drank a bunch of beer during our ferocious cocaine parties. It kept the edge off better, and no hangover. Cocaine makes you lose water weight, and alcohol is a diuretic as well. The more water I got in me the better I felt on cocaine. Sometimes I would go through 4 bottles of gatorade in a 18 hour binge. Zanax works better than what is always chosen, which is alcohol. I was the most popular person at the end of every night though, as they all got a xanax from me to sleep. Sometimes I can't believe nobody died over those 4 years.
 
so as long as you take the xanax after your done with the partying then your good to go? this kid i know chrush's up a1 mg and then dumps the coke over in and chops it all up!!!!
 
Methadone and xanax is what you REALLY don't need to combine..PERIOD. Killed too many of my homies. Add some chowder to the mix and you're asking for a heart attack. However, after coming down off coke, benzos are a necessity for me!! All in moderation guys! (except benzos n mdones that is)

What i now about it from personal experience xanax will work great when you're coming down and just want to sleep, thats how it used to be for me but now i'm prescribed 4 bars a day so xanax doesn't really effect me like most. And some advice don't ever take ambient to come off drugs, very dangerous.

I agree completely. Mixing anymore downers with an opiate is very dangerous, I've also had friends OD and die from it.
