Well, I have just finished reading all the threads about the pill testers/reactions etc.
The only reactions I have seen have been orange and black/purple... yeh good pills, but not enough to go off yer rocker about. Some of the pills I have had that tested black give you huge pupils (a very good indicator, as opiates give you small pupils) but just don't feel loved up as they should. I don't know if MDMA is cruisy and makes you feel light and happy, or it is more intense and has a more noticeable physical effect. OK, my Idea of an mdma pill is Darth vaders June 1999, White splits July 1999 and Blue melodies Present. All tested black, none of them fucked my head. HOWEVER, they all tested Black FIRST, then faded to dark purple streaks, NOT PURPLE to black.. could someone please shed some light and try to get som sense out of my post, I had a lot to say.. and this is the best that I can express it!! You seem to be talking about the difference between MDEA, MDA and MDMA. From my experience MDMA is the most complete, cleanest roll, and that's why everyone on BL (well, most people) like it so much.
Now, I could be speculating here, but as it's been explained to me, MDA and MDEA are the stronger chemical relatives of MDMA, but you don't get as much serotonin release. It's not an exact science, a lot depends on the mix in the pill, what else is in it, and of course set & setting. But MDA is a bit more of a "i can't feel my legs", stoned, rushy feeling. Like it's taking over your head almost. Definitely not as clean.
The original EZ-Tester (from Amsterdam) won't test the difference, although some people speculate that the purple/black differences you mentioned are a good guide. I don't trust it tho, sure it tells you if you've got MDxx, but not what kind. The E2 is a better indicator of the difference, although it changes colour so fast it's sometimes tricky to tell.
JB should be able to help you out with a bit more info here.
(PS. out of all the pills on dancesafe, which is a lab analysis service in the US, hardly any have MDA. I don't think we get many MDA pills in Aust either.)

I think the both of you have missed the point, will we ever know if we have had any MD products at all?! There are other chemicals that can give you a high in a similar way, but not as intensly but you still feel altered. Very sceptical... but why would a producer go to all the trouble to make MDA or MDEA, and not take those extra steps to make MDMA?! Btw, I do believe that there are a lot of pills containing tranquilisers that people take and think they are rolling off their tits, the lightness of arms etc are the same, however the euphoric feeling is not there, but the tranqs fuck up your head so much that U think U are feeling euphoric.. hmm rambling nowwhat am I saying.. PLACEBO..
Anyhow ppls just be very careful when rolling and always test this PMA is scary shit.. I think I may have had it before last NYE... I am sure if it was a strong dose of 2cb.. or PMA.. it got too intense.. I was burning up, tripping hard and heart was doing about 210 BPM... hardcore shit (I had 2 points of good speed may have contributed) anyhows.. be careful and good luck..

If you have your eyes rolling in the back of your head that is usually a good indicator of whether or not the pill is MDMA... as its a peculiar characteristic of MDMA.

darth vaders june 99.. was that the time of Rotation II queens birthday w/end? were they very small and dark? i had one of those fukkers.. tested black you said? well maybe, but they had something else in em cuz they ruined my night! they were evil in pill form... PILLS FROM THE DARK SIDE!
i experienced distortions & disorientation from half a pill. on one and a half, asym was zoning out and his speech was slowing down so much it was like someone had him on slowmotion. it didnt last all that long tho, so maybe it was K w/ mdxx? i dunno. by the time we were thru w/ the unexpected misery, there was no way we were likely to roll.
just my lil experience tho hehe, they were my worst pills ever. *so* weird to hear someone else had a dif experience! anyways, glad you enjoyed em

The darth Vaders I had were about the same size as the Blue melodies, hard press.. and lightish purple, no logo first one I had I peaked from one end of the line to the other at White Monkey
(Friggen BAAAD party, poor venue, poor vibe, lined up for 1 1/2 hrs when I bought a presale ticket)
second time was at normal monkey 2 weeks had a coupla lines of wizz, popped a pill when the wizz came on, later on the side dancin away.. thought I was fucked.. thinking hey this is nice buzz.. then all of a sudden, 'Skydive' came on (cheesy I know) and I peaked like a little banana.. my whole body went light and I was rockin fer about 3 1/2 hours then it club closed, then the usual lets-go-back-to-someone's-house-and-finish-ourselves-right-orf

Then I had more speed, went straight to a cocktail competition at a very exclusive hotel, absolutely clackered I came second

P.s. the person on this thread who said that speed dilates your pupils: but speed doesn't test black with EZtest

i wouldn't really know by having tried a clearly and officially labeled bag of mdma powder... but from what i've been told, and what i've experienced a few times, it's been a very pleasant eye jiggle... not a violent eye jiggle... if u know what i mean....
On some pills, in my case the 'on yer ass ones' give me a slow(er) and violent eye jiggle and you can actually feel your eyeball muscles contracting, and doin their thang...
but on other 'vibrant' pills (i'm assuming mdma pills here), it is actually a jiggle in the eyes that i take ALOT of pleasure in feeling...
does anyone know what i'm on about???

Doubt it is being sold online. The costs of sending and the greyish area of sending such corrosive substances through the mail makes it a bit prohibitive (from what I understand... I'm sure someone will jump to correct me if I'm wrong

You may have already come across this, but because the reaction that we are all after is BLACK, small tints of other trace colours (green, purple) can be hard to spot coz it mixes with the black.
This COULD be a reason that some of the gear that you test and seems to react similarly, feels different.
The best thing i have been told, is to sprea it bit of the reacted liquid out pretty thinly, and look at it on an angle under a decent light. You can usually pick up very subtle tints this way.
BTW: Im not trying to be a know-all, i realise that you may already know this.
