Alcohol I have a mathematical question in regards to Alcohol so i can add the numbers to this new Alcohol App i just obtained.

Guys I have a question in regards to a maths issue on Alcohol. I feel like this may be the wrong place to ask/ post this question but I don't want to create a thread for a mathematical query. But if anyone can help that would be awesome. I need the answer as I'm not great at maths and I need the numbers to apply to a drinking app I have just installed, so here I go.


If I have a litre bottle of alcohol I paid £18.75 for and a UK shot is 25mil then that means there's 40 shots in the bottle? Is that right? OK so I need to know the cost of a shot basically.
If anyone can help I would appreciate that. Sorry I'm a bit 'off it' at the minute but this is a genuine question.

A liter is 1000ml. 1000/25 = 40 You are correct. The cost per shot would be 18.75/40 = .47 So 47p per shot.
