Opioids I had strong seed tea earlier. Any point taking methadone?

I have 40 mg methadone but I'm not really feeling any wd because of the tea. Would the methadone be wasted if I drank it now or should I save it for tomorrow when I know ill be feeling some wd? Tempting to take it now but I don't want it to be masked and wasted.
