If you're referring to Coricidin Cough & Cold, this is perhaps the worst DXM preparation to ingest. I suggest you do a little reading on the dangers of Chlorpheniramine Maleate. There are much safer preparations out there that are easily attainable.

If you're going to take DXM, get a product without CPM. The combination can be dangerous and quite unpleasant.
