Hi guys,

Somehow I dont really enjoy opiates. Last week I took some codeine and right now I am on 350mg tramadol. The codeine made me really sedated and I just wanted to sleep but couldnt and the tramadol just brings a I dont care and feel ok feeling.

Most people say if they could choose between opiates and benzos, they would choose the opiates, because they are more euphoric.

In my case I am graving for etizolam like crazy right now...even with 350mg. I find benzos way more euphoric than opiates. Okay, I only tried Tilidin, Kratom, Codeine and Tramadol, but shouldnt they produce a good feeling too? I just feel okay, nothing more, nothing less. Better than sober, yes...but not much better.

Is this normal? I cant get it what people find so attractive on opiates. I never craved for opiates, even if I took them 4 weeks every day. But the benzos got me....and I am not in withdrawal, just craving.

^No offense, but this doesn't really read as much of a thread to me, what exactly is the question here?

Some people enjoy certain drugs more than others, and the opioids you're listing are all on the weaker end of the spectrum...Also, mixing them with benzos can kill the euphoria...I'd be very careful if I were you....It sounds like you don't really have a good understanding of your tolerance, and all it takes is one time of overdoing it to kill you, without you ever knowing what hit you!

No offense, but tramadol and codeine aren't exactly your best bet for recreational use. Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Oxymorphone, etc. are more likely to give you the effects it seems you desire. Highly addictive, though.

I dont even thought about mixin and I know my tolerance pretty well. Sure, they are the weaker end of the spectrum..and so is Etizolam compared to fluntrazepam or midazolam, but I dont get it what people find so good abut tramadol and codeine to get dependant from it. I just feel numbed, no euphoria, lethargic, tired, etc.
Maybe its good if you had a bad day or something, because it numbs you, but I dont get the recretional effect.

Like I said, try some other opiates. You can't lump all opiates into one category because you took a moderate dose of the weakest variation.

Yeah, but I dont have access to stronger ones and if Oxycodone, Heroin whatever is the holy grail of opiates, I think should feel something from weaker opiates. I mean I feel an effect from diazepam too and feel a stronger effect from midazolam, flunitrazepam, etc. Diazepam for example makes me euphoric, midazolam makes me more euphoric. Tramadol, Codeine, Kratom does nothing for me except making me tired and feeling numbed. Is this where the euphoria comes from for some people? Escaping from the world and nodding off? I am not expecting MDMA like euphoria, but I really dont feel anyhing euphoric. The strongest I tried was tilidine and that wasnt much better than codeine and tramadol and I am pretty sure the stronger ones doesnt do much more for me.

I'm not sure what type of response you're expecting. Codeine is more for a tooth ache and tramadol might get rid of a headache. I'm not sure what you're expecting to hear from us - but yes, nodding out on an opiate binge is probably one of the most euphoric feelings I have ever experienced. Try 30-60mg of oxycodone and tell me what you think then - until then, just realize you are too inexerpienced to even give an honest opinion on opiates.

I cant get it what people find so attractive on opiates.

Then do not pursue it (opiates) any further. My mom doesnt like them, makes her constipated as hell, groggy, brain dull, etc. Some people do not like opiates, even the stronger ones. and bewarned: Heroin, oxymorphone, hydromorphone, while all high powered and great (to me), are evil temptresses who will eventually exact an exhorbitant price from you. If benzos are your bag, then stay with them, dont mix with opiates or your chance of OD is great. and, if you do decide to ignore my advice and try the stronger opiates, ffs, do not IV them - eat or sniff. and you need to do a hell of a lot of research before you even consider it - it's a decision NOT to be taken lightly, Id put in in the same ball park as buying a home - it's a major decision that could very well change your life (negatively) forever.
