I don't know if this is a common practice or something i stupidly did one night thinking it was a good idea...
At a rave several months back, I had the idiot idea of breathing really deeply and quickly for about 20 seconds then suddenly holding my breath while "blowing on my thumb". As most of you know, while sober, this denies the brain of oxygen and you very quicly lapse into unconciousness. (undoubtedly causing a fair bit of damage)
I felt all my sense shutting down one by one, sound being the last to go. At this point, I let go, and begin to breath again. What happens next, especially whilst on pills is the most incredible sensory overload you can possibly imagine.
Sounds distort, visuals occur and you have an incredible absence of self-awareness. The fun part is that it slowly fades back in, this all happens in the space of about 30 or so seconds. When everything returns to normal, you have an incredible adrenaline rush and just jump and scream.
Now I know that this is dangerous. I'm not recommending it to anyone, it was something I tried and am telling myself not to do from then on. But definately an experience...
(ps - it cant do that much harm, i used a big word - undoubtedly - see? -see?)
