Opioids Hydromorphone + Barbiturates= Minimal CYP2D Decrease In Potency?

For the record I have a huge benzo tolerence and am used to barbiturates, amobarbital specifically however all barbiturates work via CYP2D6 and I have been waiting to get an opioid that has minimal metabolites (morphine, hydromorphone) as opposed to codeine, dyhydrocodeine, hydrocodone even oxy which have active metabolites, so I want to give it a chance with a small 50mg dose of amobarbital.

From what I gather hydromorphone is the best choice when you have barbiturates in your system since it doesn't have any active metabolites and doesn't have to go via first phase metabolism. People who have the CYP2D6 inhibited are said to metabolise codeine, tramadol, hydrocodone much to quick that it doesn't potenciate the high rather you need a lot more to feel the same. Also it is said that it takes away from the high by producing nicocodeine in the case of codeine and very little morphine which is not very euphoric, same with hydrocodone by inhibiting the CYP2D it is said it won't convert as much to hydromorphone and convert a lot more to other less desirable metabolites.

Will taking amobarbital with hydromorphone (snorted) take away from the high of hydromorphone - will it be shorten the duration, or should it not be affected at all?

If anybody is interested I think this was one of the better combos I've had in a while. I snort about 18mg-24mg dialudid throughout a day (binge of 3-4days) and I notice the stimulation form it keeps me up at night even with clonazepam and lorazepam which I've taken since 04 daily. It is euphoric however it is noticably stimulating reminding me of the oral fentanyl which is crazy 'upbeat' so much that its hard to catch a nod and by the time you will be on a very high dose, even still the residual effects are much more stimulating than sedating in that its very hard to sleep and i've stayed up for 48hrs + without caffeine or stimulants on hydromophone alone, if you think oxycodone is speedy snorted hydromorphone is 3x as worse and oral fentanyl about 6x as stimulating.

I smoked good weed throughout the entire time so that is worth mentioning since it added to the opiate and barbiturate part; the dreamy, creative, sedating part.

On to my experience I had been snorting dilaudid by itself for 2 days and I couldn't sleep the entire night nor feel like I could sleep throughout the day after, rather ending up sleeping with a lot of difficulty around 1am-ish. After I woke up refreshed I took 50mg amobarbital in the morning along with 2mg lorazepam and 1mg clonazepam and continued to snort hydromorphone. I noticed that I could nod out easier but it wasn't very strong I feel that the hydromorphone stimulant nature almost cancelled out a bit of what 50mg amobarbital has to offer. I enjoyed it for what it was like a benzos combo but more euphoric and overall relaxing. About 6hrs later I took another 50mg with a 500ml beer and a 50ml shot of plum brandy along with 1.5mg lorazepam. This time I could barely hold on to my eye lids and had no control over nodding out no matter how many cigarettes I smoked, it got a bit strange b/c I thought I had taken too much hydromorphone which I was still snorting and I left it for the next day as I thought I may be overdoing it. I decided to go to sleep a bit worried however once I layed in bed I was extremely relaxed yet refreshed and not at all knockout asleep I even watched 15min of a movie on the computer and woke up quite stimulated like I had drank a lot of coffee the night before.

Today I continued with 50mg amobarbital, 1mg clonazepam, 500ml beer and 25ml plum brandy (and weed). This time I only need 4mg to get high and 6mg to nod out I could feel a significant increase in potency. I took another 50mg 2hrs after the original 50mg with another 1mg clonazepam, this made the experience very potent and gave me a very clear high with the best of both worlds, other than the opiate high I was very much sedated and euphoric from the amobarbital as well which made for one hell of a ride 7-8hr long, the smoothest and chillest in a long time with the dreamyness of opiates plus that of good barbiturates. Also I tried now to sleep and i feel extremely relaxed body wise and very much buzzed mentaly (no fog, very clear thinking with weed recently smoked even) but I have a lot of energy which I contribute to the hydromorphone. I would recommend one try Soma before deciding benzos alone aren't working anymore to potenciate the opiate buzz, also I have a very low opinion of hydromorphone however my experience is limited to snorted which is a very coke like high in my opinon and I can sware to everybody that when I was high as fuck on amobarbital and weed everytime I snorted some hydromorphone I would be awake and my clarity of though would be restored, very strange (not my first time with hydromorphone btw, but when I had it first in 03-04 I only had oxycodone and codeine as a refference point).

Conclusion: Snorted hydromorphone with oral amobarbital is AMAZING and it's no wonder Elvis abused similar combos like Amytal/Seconal/Tuinal with Dilaudid, there is a reason its an amazing high. Find the right dose and always start low. As far as CYP2D6 goes I haven't noticed any decrease in potency (I do have legimated pain from a fractured knee and hurts to walk on it) if anything it was more potent however I am aware hydromorphone produces an active metabolite however like morphine the significance of isn't even worth mentiong. The reason I asked this question was b/c with amobarbital and oxycodone I noticed some reduction in high/euphoria resulting in taking a slight bit more oxycodone to acheive the same results.

I read that hydromorphone is a neruoexcitant what does this imply? (if necessary I will post the link, let me know)
