Opioids Hydromet...experience?

So. My mom's dog was very sick. He was prescribed this in very small doses. I noticed the famous controlled substance sticker. OF course I'm not an asshole. He was DIEING he needed it. So ya he finally passed away two nights ago and I got a bottle of this left just chilling. I stopped shooting up but I did plug some blues a few days ago so I'm not trying to be SOBURe just not stick myself. I got plenty of bupe so if there's no recreational value in it...I won't do it. But ya...I thought you guys would be able to help. Not much help from google :?
 
Its a syrup right?

Hydrocodone Bitartrate ........................ 5 mg

Homatropine Methylbromide ............... 1.5 mg

I would guess thats per ML, not sure though
 
^ That's per 5mL if I'm not mistaken.

I would avoid drinking this man, Homatropine Methylbromide is not something that you want to overdose from.
 
It's basically what they add in to give you terrible anticholinergic effects, to deter abuse.

Unless you have like, zero tolerance to opiates, best just put this back in storage where you found it.
 
Oh yea? Interesting...like naloxone of sorts? Cause its for my dog so thats pretty funny (well was). What does it do?
 
Basically, man.... If you drink too much of it, you're just going to feel like shit. Any time I would try to abuse this shit, I would feel good for a bit, then I would just instantly feel like shit. & if you're on bupe, your tolerance is going to be way too high for it to even matter. You'll feel like shit way before you get high.

...I would just keep it in the fridge, in case of an emergency or something. It might stave off withdrawals, should it come to that. But for someone with a decent tolerance, it ain't going to do jack shit. Sorry man.

& sorry about your dog bro. I know how bad that shit sucks. :(
 
Thanks man. It was my mom's but still not nice to see any animal die =/ he lived a longl ife for a dog though. Went quitely. That's all we can all hope for honestly.

And I think I will just keep it for a rainy day so to speak.

Yeah man, it's always rough to see your dog go. He/she's like part of the family. I can say that when my dog [chocolate lab, named bomber] passed away, I fucking cried. Then I got high and dug his grave, then cried some more. :/

It doesn't sound so great for easing w/ds either, if it makes you feel like shit anyway. Might be the lesser of two evils, but it sounds like you'll never logically reach for a bottle.

IDK man I think I'd take a 5mg viccodin (prbly 10mgs just to get as much without risk of OD of that other shit.) to ohld me over a few hours over poppin anti dirreah meds and eating handfulls of black pepper to get it over the BBB anyday of the week.
 
just to let you know Homatropine is prescribed by its self in doses fo 10mg pills up to 4 times a day. Thats 40mgs in a adult. An average bottle of hydromet is 4oz which is 120mg of hydrocodone and 24 mgs of Homatropine . I drink an entire bottle for a nice high and get only a slight dry mouth which is a side effect of Homatropine. So as long as you dont go chugging id say more then 10.5-2 bottles or 6-8oz you should be alright with the doses of Homatropine.

Heres my reference about doses of Homatropine which is used for ulcers and other stomach issues. Its a little more then half way down under "Proper use of this medacine" And its in alphabetical order so find homatropine and you will see 10mg up to 4 times a day.

I was worried about the hydrobromide too but I read that the ill effects don't kick in till you go over a certain amount...obviously a 4 mixed w/ sprite was not enough to bring on any of that. YMMV but it was good for me
